The Triple Dash

"Your life is all about the dash."

Meaning that what you do, who you are in the time between the day you're born and the day you die - THE DASH - that's who you really are, that's the important thing ..... the dash. Well .... I get it, but what to do with folks who are living in their double dash? Or like me, their triple dash?

My life's time line looks like this:

November 25, 1966 - July 23, 1978 - November 22, 2000 - 

I AM in my triple dash, and I assure you NOW is what really matters. NOW is who I really am. Anything that happened between November 25, 1966 and July 23, 1978 is old man, Adam, business and has no impact on now. Any ignorant, prodigal, sinful thing that happened between July 23, 1978 and November 22, 2000 is covered in the blood of Christ that saved me and is forgiven and has no impact on now. Here's why:

Jesus' literal, physical time line looks like this:

Birth - Death - Resurrection - Ascension

I was born in 1966. I died to myself in 1978. I was resurrected in 2000. I am now in the triple dash ... the transforming, grace to grace, faith to faith, Spirit led triple dash. Clearly my time period between death and resurrection, 22 years, took far longer than my Lord's three days, but praise God in Heaven, I made it. Praise God, I have been resurrected with my Lord. Praise God my name is written in The Lamb's Book of Life, and I am living from faith to faith, grace to grace, by the dunamis power of the Holy Ghost ..... every single day becoming more and more like Him ..... literally, physically restored, transformed, renewed ......

It goes like this:

First dash - Time I spent dead in my sins, without the knowledge of, or acceptance of, needing a Savior

Second dash - Recognizing Jesus as my Savior

Third dash - Recognizing Jesus as my Savior AND having Him as LORD of my life

Every living, breathing Child of God, is either in the double or triple dash stage of their walk. With my heart, I pray we ALL come into the fullness of that triple dash ...... for this is where the fullness of our heavenly Father .... His love, His grace, His promise, His favor, His mercy, His power, His presence, His WORD take on the FULLNESS of HIS Life in us and launch us into the supernatural, abundant, reigning Life, Jesus died and rose us to have!!!!
